VOICE CLONING CONSENT
1. Introduction
Voice cloning is a powerful feature. Sorvago's voice cloning, powered by ElevenLabs under their commercial OEM terms, creates a voice model from samples you upload. This document explains the terms of voice cloning consent and what your authorization permits.
2. What voice cloning is
Voice cloning takes audio samples (typically 1-5 minutes of clear speech) and creates an AI voice model that can generate synthetic audio in the same voice. The model can speak any text you provide, with controllable emotion, pace, and emphasis.
Voice cloning happens through ElevenLabs' infrastructure. Sorvago does not host its own voice cloning models; Sorvago routes your samples to ElevenLabs under commercial OEM terms that designate Sorvago as the customer interface for end users.
3. Your consent statements
When you use Sorvago's voice cloning, you consent to the following statements. The in-app consent flow requires you to affirm each before voice cloning is enabled:
1. Voice sample authorization. The voice samples you upload are yours, or you have written authorization from the voice owner to use them for voice cloning purposes. You will not upload voice samples of any individual without their consent.
2. Voice clone usage scope. You will use the cloned voice to create content that you direct. You will not use the cloned voice to impersonate other individuals without their consent, commit fraud, or generate content intended to deceive or harm.
3. ElevenLabs processing. You authorize ElevenLabs to process your voice samples to create and operate the voice clone, in accordance with ElevenLabs' commercial OEM terms and privacy policy.
4. Disclosure obligations. If you publish content generated using a cloned voice, you are responsible for complying with applicable AI content disclosure requirements (including YouTube's AI content policies). Sorvago's Authenticity Receipt documents the use of voice cloning in your production but does not satisfy your platform-side disclosure obligations.
5. Deletion rights. You can request deletion of your voice clone at any time through your Sorvago account settings. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Deletion removes the voice model from ElevenLabs; previously generated audio you've kept is not affected.
4. Prohibited uses
You may not use Sorvago's voice cloning to:
• Impersonate real persons without their explicit consent
• Generate content intended to deceive listeners about who is speaking
• Create defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory audio content
• Violate any third-party rights (including publicity rights, copyrights, contract obligations)
• Commit fraud or any unlawful act
5. Enforcement
Violation of these consent terms may result in voice clone deletion, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement (for unlawful uses). Sorvago and ElevenLabs reserve the right to remove voice clones that violate these terms.
